Q

Non-Student Library Access

Good evening,

I notice you have a book I'm interested in reading, and I was wondering
whether it is permissible for non-students to have access to your library
so I can read the book without checking it out? If not, I'll follow the
inter-library loan request process via the San Antonio public library.

Thank you!

Answer

Yes, you can come to the libray as a guest and read the book, or use other library resources. Since it sounds like you have a San Antonio Public Library card, you might want to make use of the Texshare program. You can go to your home library and request a Texshare card that will allow you to come to our library and check out the book you are wanting to read.   Click on the link to borrowing policies and then go to the tab for Texshare and you will find information about the program.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.
