Q

Coates library question

I am an upcoming Internal Medicine resident at
UTHSCSA. I'll be living in the Monte Vista neighborhood, pretty close to
Trinity University. I was wondering if non-students can go to use the
library. I don't need to check out any book, I just want to use the study
space from time to time (probably a couple of times a month).

Answer

Yes, the library is open to the public. We do ask that you sign in at the main desk when you enter and there is an entrance policy that restricts entrance from 8pm on to only Trinity students, faculty and staff. We do have guest wifi and there are visitor parking spots designated directly behind the library. I am also including a link to information regarding borrowing privileges should you want to check out books from the library. You would need to acquire a TexShare card for checking out books and one can be obtained from the public library as long as you have a library card.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.
