The library subscribes to an online language learning system called Mango Languages, which offers self-paced instruction via a web browser in a number of different languages.  There are “full courses” of 100 lessons for many languages, and now there are “basic courses” that take 2-5 hours each in a larger number of languages.  The basic courses are meant for those who want a quick brush-up on a language they’ve studied before or for those who’d like to learn the very basics of “simple, practical, and polite conversation.”  Access Mango Languages by clicking on Articles and More at the library website.
